How to Make Fermented Porridge (Ambali)
- Wash the Siridhanya millet thoroughly.
- Soak for 6–8 hours in structured water.
- Cook with 6–10 glasses of water per glass of millet until soft.
- Let it cool to room temperature.
- Cover with a cotton or khadi cloth. Do not add salt.
- Leave for 7–8 hours to ferment naturally.
- Consume as porridge, mixed with water or buttermilk.
Daily Walking
Walk for a minimum of 75 minutes per day. Duration matters more than speed. In the morning watch the orange-coloured sun during sunrise for 10 minutes, and again in the evening during sunset.
Dietary Considerations
Dr. Khadar Valli advises staying away from paddy rice, sugar, maida (all-purpose flour) and wheat, and stopping non-vegetarian food. Palm jaggery is the recommended sweetener. After 40 years of age, two meals a day is ideal. Use structured water (copper-rested water) for cooking and drinking.
Important Warnings
Do not stop your regular medicines suddenly. Reduce your medicines gradually, step by step, as your health improves.
